Delicious Thai-Style Fried Rice Recipe! Hanukkah Challenge

Thai-style fried rice.

Ingredients: 1 cup rice (before cooking), 1-2 ears of fresh corn (frozen or canned corn works if fresh is unavailable), 1 package of tofu, 1 egg, 1 large carrot cut into small cubes, 1 small zucchini cut into small cubes, a quarter cabbage cut into small cubes, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon natural silan (date syrup), 1 teaspoon sesame oil. For those who want it spicy, add chili flakes.

Cook 1 cup of basmati rice (you can also use rice left over in the fridge).

After the rice cools, cut the kernels off a fresh ear of corn and fry them in a hot wok or pan with oil for about 5 minutes until they start to brown. (If using frozen or canned corn, add it after the cabbage.)

Add the tofu, cut into small cubes, and fry for a few more minutes until the tofu also starts to brown.

Add a bit more oil (push the tofu and corn to the sides of the wok), crack in the egg, and mix it well until it becomes soft scrambled egg, then combine everything together. Next add the carrot, and after 2 minutes add the zucchini and cabbage.

After 2-3 minutes add the rice and mix (if it has cooled, wait until it warms up in the pan). Once it is warm, add the sauces: soy sauce, natural silan, and sesame oil (plus chili flakes if you want it spicy), and mix for another 2 minutes. That's it, ready!
